kiddys top down

Last year I did this top-down-raglan, pattern from an online-calculator, unfortunately only in German, but I think its pretty much Elizabeth Zimmermann.
Yarn was a sockyarnkit, bought as a bargain. I love the green-turquoise-yellow colourscheme, but most of my friends think its too much eco-organic-shanti appearing, and my daughter seems to feel the same - she´s denying that thing totally - the afterwards added redridinghoodtape didn´t much help. So I hope for kid2 :-)

But I am still on the track:
This one was on my mind for a long time - the colours are choosen due the new tase of kid1, the pattern again from here

I wanted a short sleeve type, kind of to wear with a blouse or a longsleeveshirt. Maybe the green one is too "boyish", I thought about "puffy" sleeves - and I think they became really nice.

Completly au contraire to the hem...grmpf

I did EZ´s caston-castoff, ...yeah you can see - so ravel and do it again with a basic castoff.
I will also add a little pocket with kittymotif.
Pics are a little better, but still not good - forgive, with a baby in the sling its hard to do real good work...
While I am knitting, I always think about the next projects...I feel really inspired by this , this girl is such a marvellous knitter, its hard not to be envy. The ripping, the colour, the buttons - everything seems perfect! I would add some inches at the waist - during the whole day I have to bend a zillion times and I cannot stand the gap between end of pants and hem of jackets - and I want it in a more thicker yarn - this raglanbabes above are done on needles US#1. Now I am feeling for quicker result. Colour? Yellow?- kinda new favorite of mine.
